ProjectOffice TV
Your project wall on the big screen. Put it on a display in the project office and leave it running.
What it shows
A companion to your workspace
ProjectOffice TV reads from the workspace you already have and puts it on screen. It does not hold data of its own.
Dashboard wall
Active projects on rotation, so the room always sees the current picture without anyone touching the remote.
Plan timeline
Where the plan stands, on a screen big enough for a group to read together.
Analytics
Portfolio level figures for stand-ups and reviews.
Photo wall
Recent site photography from your projects.
RAID board
Open risks, actions, issues and decisions in view of the whole team.
Permit to Work signage
Permit status displayed where people need to see it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use this app?
Yes. ProjectOffice TV shows data from an existing ProjectOffice workspace, so you need an account in that workspace before the app is of any use.
There is no signup inside the Apple TV app. If your organisation does not use ProjectOffice yet, start on the web or with the iPhone and iPad app, then come back to the TV.
How do I sign in on Apple TV?
Launch the app and you will be asked for the same workspace credentials you use elsewhere: your workspace address, your password and your app code. Your app code comes from your profile in the web app, and your administrator can point you to it.
You can ask the app to remember the credentials so the screen comes back up on its own after a restart, which is what you want for a display that stays on the wall.
If sign-in fails, check the same account works on the web first. That tells you whether the problem is the account or the television.
What data does it show?
Only what your account is already allowed to see in your workspace: your active projects and their dashboards, plan timeline, analytics, photos, RAID entries and Permit to Work status.
Because it mirrors your existing permissions, the app cannot reveal anything on the television that you could not open on the web.
Can I edit anything on the TV?
No, and that is deliberate. ProjectOffice TV is display only. You cannot create, change or delete records from the television.
It is built to sit on a wall in a shared space, so read-only means nothing can be altered by whoever happens to be holding the remote. Make your edits on the web or in the iPhone and iPad app, and the television picks them up.
The screen is not updating.
Check that the Apple TV still has a network connection, then confirm the same account loads on the web. If the data is current on the web but stale on the television, sign out and back in from the app to re-establish the session.
If it still will not refresh, email us with the name of your workspace and we will look into it.
