Frequently asked questions
How do I get an account?
It depends which tier you are on.
Enterprise: accounts are created by your own organisation. Ask whoever administers ProjectOffice where you work, and they will issue your workspace address and credentials. We cannot create or unlock enterprise accounts on your behalf, because your organisation controls who has access.
Personal: open the app and choose Sign in with Apple. That creates your account there and then. No invitation and no waiting.
I forgot my password.
Enterprise: use the password reset option on the sign-in screen. If the reset email does not arrive, contact your organisation's ProjectOffice administrator, since your workspace may restrict resets or use your company sign-in.
Personal: there is no password to forget. Personal accounts use Sign in with Apple, so access is controlled by your Apple Account. If you cannot get into that, Apple can help you recover it.
Can I use a personal account and an enterprise account on the same device?
Yes. The app holds one active session at a time, so you switch between them rather than seeing both at once.
Sign out from Settings inside the app, then sign back in with the other account. Anything you captured offline should be allowed to finish syncing before you switch, otherwise it stays queued until you sign back in to that account.
What happens to snags I capture without signal?
Nothing is lost. The app is built to be used on sites with no coverage.
Snags, photos and other captures are written to your device first and queued. When the device gets a connection again, the queue syncs in the background, so you do not have to keep the app open or press anything. Items that have not yet synced stay visible to you on the device in the meantime.
Stay signed in to the same account until the queue has cleared. Signing out or deleting the app before it syncs will discard anything still waiting.
How do I manage or cancel a personal subscription?
Personal subscriptions are sold through the App Store, so Apple handles the billing and you manage them in your Apple Account rather than in our app.
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, and choose ProjectOffice. From there you can change plan or cancel. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
Because Apple processes the payment, refunds are requested from Apple as well, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account and data?
See the section below, which sets out both the in-app route and the email route.
Your data
Delete your account and data
You can delete your account from inside the app. You do not need to contact us first and you do not need to explain why.
In the app
- 1 Open ProjectOffice on your iPhone or iPad.
- 2 Go to Settings.
- 3 Choose Account, then Delete account.
- 4 Confirm. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
By email
If you cannot sign in, write to support@projectoffice.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm your identity, action the request and confirm when it is done, within 2 business days.
Deleting a personal account removes your profile and the project content held for it. Deleting the account does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that separately in your Apple Account settings.
Enterprise accounts
If you signed in with a company workspace address, your account belongs to your organisation and its administrator controls it. Ask them to remove your access. Project records created inside a workspace stay with that organisation, since they are its business records rather than personal data we can remove on request. We will always help you reach the right person.
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.
